What is PrEP?
PrEP is a medication taken to reduce the risk of HIV before potential exposure. It’s recommended for people at higher risk of HIV, including men who have sex with men, people with HIV-positive partners, or those who have sex without condoms. When taken as prescribed, PrEP can reduce the risk of HIV by up to 99%.

Treatment depends on the cause and severity of your symptoms:
